Accessible, Comprehensive Care for Every Body and Budget
Your health is your greatest asset, and safeguarding it should never be a financial burden. At the Rikolla Aid Foundation, we are pioneering a new model of accessible healthcare through our Free and Subsidized Biannual Medical Check-Up. Held every June 12th and October 1st, this program breaks down the single greatest barrier to preventative care—cost—ensuring that every individual, regardless of economic status, can access the vital knowledge needed to protect their well-being.
The “Free & Subsidized” Difference: A Tiered Model of Care
We recognize that healthcare needs vary, and a one-size-fits-all approach is insufficient. Our innovative model provides two clear pathways:
The Free Essential Screening: Available to all, this core offering includes crucial baseline tests: Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose (Sugar) check, and a basic health consultation. This is designed to identify the most common and urgent risk factors for hypertension and diabetes at absolutely no cost.
The Subsidized Comprehensive Panel: For those seeking deeper insight, we offer an extended panel of tests—such as Cholesterol levels, Kidney & Liver Function markers, or a full Blood Count—at a profoundly subsidized rate, often 70-80% below standard market prices. This tier is for individuals managing chronic conditions, those with family histories of illness, or anyone wishing to invest in a more detailed picture of their health.
This dual approach ensures universal access while promoting dignity of choice, allowing everyone to participate at the level that meets their health needs and financial capacity.
Why We Do It: Preventing Crisis, One Check-Up at a Time
Our belief is simple: the most expensive health condition is the one caught too late. The silent progression of hypertension, diabetes, or kidney disease can be halted with early detection. By making these check-ups a predictable, biannual habit, we empower you to shift from a mindset of crisis management to proactive stewardship of your own body. This program is our most direct intervention against the “epidemic of ignorance” that allows manageable conditions to escalate into life-threatening emergencies.
More Than a Test: A Gateway to Health Literacy
Your visit is about more than numbers on a chart. Our trained healthcare advocates and volunteers provide personalized, easy-to-understand explanations of your results. We connect you to resources, offer guidance on lifestyle adjustments, and, if needed, provide clear referrals for affordable ongoing care. You leave not with a slip of paper, but with a personalized action plan and the confidence to execute it.
